WP Schools Sport Organization created a website: wepsso.co.za for all school sport codes where all events, news, results for the year are displayed. Schools Chess will make use of wepsso.co.za from 2012 (select chess from code list).
Schools league registration must be done online under online registration on this website from 1 - 29 February 2012. The form will not be accessible after 29 February and no late registrations can be accepted. Result forms, rules for league, individual registration forms, ect will be under resources on the website.
Contact details for district committee coordinators will appear under contact, please note league results must be send to league coordinators (high and primary schools), proof of payment of schools registration must be send to the treasurer of each district. If the contact detail of the above is not available please send to the chairperson.
Individual tournament registration can also be done online under online registration, please note that the tournament fee for online registration is R30 per player (due to bank costs). Pre-registration forms will not be accessible after pre-registration date and no late entries will be accepted. Details will be on the online registration form. Proof of electronic payment must be submitted on the first day of the tournament.
Forms for manual pre-registration (at a venue in each district) can be downloaded from the wepsso.co.za under resources and tournament registration fee is R20 per player. Forms will also be available at the venue. Players do not need to be present at pre-registration.
The venues and times will be announced under events on wepsso.co.za.
